Whether you're navigating emotional charge, a difficult decision, relationship friction, loss of direction, or simply know something needs to shift, these answers will help you understand how the work is structured and where to begin.

What Happens in a Session?

Sessions are practical, structured, and focused on what is most relevant right now. You bring the issue, decision, emotional charge, recurring pattern, or area of uncertainty. Through a precise guided inquiry, we examine the perceptions currently influencing how you think, feel, respond, communicate, prioritise, and act. The aim is not endless discussion. The aim is clarity, balance, and meaningful forward movement. Once the relevant facts are clear, Belle will usually interrupt the repeating story and move directly to the perceptions sustaining it. Repeating stories can reinforce the very emotional patterns we are working to dissolve. Once those perceptions are addressed, attention becomes less captured by the issue and more available for clear thinking, proportionate action, steadier communication, and aligned next steps. Is this therapy?

No. While sessions can be deeply transformative, they are not talk therapy and are not built around retelling the same story repeatedly. You are welcome to share what is happening initially so the relevant perceptions can be identified. Once that is clear, we move quickly into the structured work. The purpose is to identify and equilibrate the perceptions driving emotional charge, looping patterns, hesitation, conflict, internal friction, or behavioural stagnation. As those perceptions balance, the emotional charge often dissolves, the story loses its grip, and what remains is greater perspective, appreciation, objectivity, and freedom to move forward. Many clients appreciate that sessions are direct, efficient, outcome-oriented, and do not require months of revisiting the same material.

What is the Demartini Method?

The Demartini Method is a structured process formulated by Dr John Demartini after decades of cross-disciplinary research into human behaviour, values, perception, and transformation. It is designed to reveal unconscious or incomplete perceptions that may be generating emotional charge, conflict, hesitation, reactive behaviour, or distorted decision-making. By bringing missing information into awareness, one-sided perceptions become balanced. What if I don’t know what the real issue is?

That is very common. Many people do not arrive with a neat explanation. They simply know something feels heavy, unclear, reactive, mentally noisy, stalled, or off. Part of Belle’s skill is helping identify the real issue beneath the surface presentation. The presenting problem is often only the surface expression of a deeper imbalance. The frustration behind the frustration. The fear behind the delay. The conflict behind the symptom. The charge behind the charge. Once the true constraint is seen clearly, movement becomes possible. How quickly can something shift?

Often very quickly. When perception changes, behaviour and emotion can change immediately. A story that felt heavy, convincing, or overwhelming can lose its grip in moments once omitted information is revealed and a greater truth is seen clearly. Many individuals experience meaningful movement in a single session. Longstanding, layered, or repeated patterns may benefit from continued work over time. Both are normal. Many people are surprised by how quickly a long-held story can lose credibility once the missing pieces are seen clearly.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private, respectful, and confidential. Nothing is off the table. You are met in a grounded, non-judgmental space. Many clients discuss topics they have never felt able to speak openly about elsewhere. Belle has worked with a wide range of human experiences over many years. You do not need to be polished, sorted, or have it figured out before arriving. You simply need to arrive honestly.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No formal preparation is required. Simply bring what feels most relevant right now. Helpful items include: water tissues pen and paper privacy presence Please do not attend while driving or distracted. The quality of your presence often influences the depth of the outcome. Arriving honest and present matters more than arriving prepared.
